Owner's Comments:
Henson Collection - 1934 National Parks (1 thru 10). Flat Plate Printing, 200 Stamps on 4 panes of 50. Printed by US Burea of Engraving & Printing. Errors include Double transfer, color varieties, and imperf. pairs. Perferated 11. A stamp can only try to express the pure beauty of these special rugged American landscapes. Still, if you have visited them this collection can remind you of the mist of Old Faithful, the immense vastness and colors of the Grand Canyon, the reflective deep blue of Crater Lake, the sightful wonder of El Capitan, and the majesty of Zion and Rainier. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoy this collection.
