  "it is a genuine usage on a registered cover to France with 2c and 10c Perf 10 Washington - Franklin stamps (decline opinion whether or not the 2c and 10c stamps are watermarked), all tied by Boston, Mass. double oval cancels, with purple Boston, Mass. Jan 16, 1917 REGISTERED and other appropriate transit and receiving hand stamps on the back - the 2c stamp with a natural straight edge at the left, the 10c with Colony Trust Company perfins and the cover with French censor tape and handstamp markings."
